QueryConnect is a powerful tool that allows users to connect different line of business tools such as Microsoft Access, SQL Databases and many others (including Legacy Databases), to import data into a SharpCloud story.
In the recent update, we have released some great features including:
- Being able to group queries together using Folders and Sub-Folders. This allows multiple queries to be run collectively together as a group, instead of independently having to run each query.
- Resources and Panels can now be imported into a SharpCloud story using QueryConnect.
- New ability to export queries means that any connections/folders that you have created can easily be shared with other QueryConnect users, in a similar way to how someone might share a Word document among colleagues.

If you are already a QueryConnect user, you'll see a link to download the new version the next time you use it.
For technical reasons, QueryConnect v4.0 can be installed alongside older QueryConnect versions allowing you to run both versions side by side. v4.0 no longer requires you to install additional Microsoft components to connect to Excel, Access and SharePoint. We'll also be adding connectors to other types of data source (e.g. Jira) in the near future.
