The report provides the following recommendations for IT leaders supporting collaboration projects:

- Pilot technologies that inspire more effective collaboration through fulfilling employees’ wishes for a more consumer-like experience.
- Emphasize technologies that are intuitive and practical for solving real business issues and finding new opportunities.
