Enhanced integration, collaboration, and data management

Smart Forms, with enhanced functionality compared to our previous forms, allow for greater integration between your SharpCloud story and the business processes it supports. This further improves collaboration, simplifies processes, and streamlines data entry and augmentation. With Smart Forms, SharpCloud can serve as the System of Record, acting as the initial step in gathering data, providing analytics and decision-making, and ultimately delivering reporting from a single platform.

During the session we will demonstrate these benefits of smart forms:

Improved layout control

Forms can now have tabs, allowing you to easily organize and group attributes and properties together. This creates a logical way for your audience to interact with the form. We’ve also introduced grid layouts to neatly display multiple attributes, along with settings to control how your data is displayed within the form.

Forms are no longer just for items!

Relationships can now be edited in tabular form as well as multi-select list (with search), exposing direction and values as well as visibility of attributes of the item its connecting. Introducing these key SharpCloud elements in to the forms allows you and your audience to use forms as a wider, cohesive process and build a telling story!

Conditional fields

Fields on the form can now be either hidden or disabled depending on values of other attributes an item holds. This allows you to make the form more specific and relevant for the correct items!

Advanced settings

You can now control the number of form columns. Additionally custom code enables bespoke functionality like pre-save validation, data calculations, or post-flight checks to trigger additional events.
