When you access our site using a supported browser, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects information using both server authentication and data encryption, which is designed to keep content posted in SharpCloud safe and secure and to prevent unauthorised access by users that have not been invited to collaborate on a story.

SharpCloud provides each user a unique account and password. SharpCloud is fully compliant with the UK G-Cloud.

Microsoft Azure

SharpCloud data and applications are hosted on Microsoft Azure, for whom security is a top priority. Microsoft Azure has many levels of data compliance such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, SOC 1 and SOC 2, as well as country-specific standards including Australia IRAP, UK G-Cloud, and Singapore MTCS.

Microsoft was first to adopt the uniform international code of practice for cloud privacy, ISO/IEC 27018, which governs the processing of personal information by cloud service providers. Their Trust Center has more information.
