The pinnacle of achievement in risk management: Network Rail and SharpCloud were big winners on the night, taking home the ‘Best Use of Technology in Risk Management’.
"It's happened again! I'm delighted to pick up another award on behalf of the Group Risk team in Network Rail, winning 'Best Use of Technology in Risk Management' in collaboration with SharpCloud Software, at the CIR Awards, for our approach to improving our risk and control conversations and executive reporting through visualisation."
- David Shipp, Enterprise Risk Manager, Network Rail
The CIR 10th Annual Risk Management Awards took place on the 6th November and the deserving winners were announced at a prestigious Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square.
The Risk Management Awards recognise those individuals, organisations and teams that have significantly added to the understanding and practice of risk management. Judged by an independent panel of experts for exceptional performance, the awards provide an opportunity for organisations and individuals to showcase their best products, projects and people.
David goes on to say:
"SharpCloud has enabled us to revolutionise risk conversations in Network Rail by simplifying a complex and interrelated dataset and providing various lenses of key risk information. Its visual nature and appeal has helped bring the business together through collaboration of linked risk information.
This has resulted in wider industry recognition including winning awards at the ALARM Risk Conference and CIR Risk Awards, both for Best Use of Technology in Risk Management."
SharpCloud are proud to be working with the risk team at Network Rail and for yet another award to have been achieved is hugely rewarding for all involved.
For those going to the IRM Risk Leaders event next week, be sure to talk to either David Shipp or SharpCloud who will be exhibiting there if you want to find out more!
